VIDEO: Some of the most valuable free and paid resources to land your next job

Published over 1 year ago • 1 min read

Hi Reader,

As recently as this morning, I've had individuals reach out to me unsure if what they need is a career coach, resume writer, executive coach, or something else, when it comes to landing their next job. I have also noticed, over the years, that many people aren't aware of free resources they could be tapping into in order to land their next job role.

Years ago, this led me to do a Facebook Live that not only breaks down the differences in a few paid resources that support with career advancement, but it also highlights some free resources that can be super valuable to your next career search. I also share some average prices based on my own experience with different providers for the paid tools that I mentioned (these prices of course change and shift over the years).

I added this Facebook Live video to YouTube to make it more accessible to those not following me on Facebook. Feel free to check it out if it can be useful to you, share with anyone else you think it can be useful to, and definitely Like the video if you find it valuable! :).

Check it out below:

Warm regards,

Hi Reader, How do we connect when we feel someone's perspective or approach is completely different than ours? Maybe a colleague is expounding too much on a point. Maybe a customer seems to be asking for way too much. Maybe a manager is feeling like 10 steps are needed to roll out a new initiative when you're sure it can be done in 3 steps. Daily or weekly, we run into differences in perspective or approach and in each case, we have the opportunity to have an interaction result in connection...

Hi Reader, As we are approaching the end of the first quarter of 2024, this is a great time for us to reflect on where we are and where we would like to be in the areas that mean the most to us professionally. I have a life hack that I have used for years to periodically assess where I am and where I want to be personally and professionally, even during my busiest seasons in life. And I wanted to share it with you just in case you might find it useful. If you prefer to watch a video of how...

For those of you who have a vision you're striving for personally or professionally, I know goals can be overwhelming at times, so this is a gentle reminder that if you are feeling overwhelmed by so many things that you feel you should be doing to move forward personally or professionally, you don't have...
